Day 01: Arrival in Lima – City Tour (14:15 – 17:30)

Upon arrival in Lima we will pick you up from the airport and transfer you to your hotel. In the afternoon the Lima city tour begins by visiting the Huaca Puccllana, a pre-Hispanic archaeological site built in the 4th Century. Then we will explore the historic downtown, including: the Peruvian government Palace, Cathedral, and others that will show us beautiful colonial and Republican architecture. Also, we will visit the San Francisco Church with its impressive catacombs. To finish our tour, we will visit the modern side of the city passing through residential and financial centers of San Isidro and Miraflores, where you will have a beautiful view of the Pacific Ocean. Day 02: Flight to the wihte city Arequipa (B)

Transfer to the airport to take the flight to Arequipa City. Upon arrival we will pick you up from the airport and transfer you to your hotel, this day you will have day of leisure. You can explore and discover why is called white city, beside you could taste its famous gastronomy in a variety of restaurants. Overnight in Arequipa

Day 03: Journey to the Colca Canyon 2D/ 1N (B) (L)

After breakfast in your hotel, we will begin the journey to Colca Canyon. We will drive through Yura, a natural reserve of Cañaguas, where you will see herds of vicuñas and alpacas grazing in Andean wetlands. Also, you will pass by the highest point, known as the Mirador de los Andes at 4800m/15748ft, which has a spectacular view of the volcanoes. From there you will descend towards the village of Chivay for lunch and then go to our designated hotel. By the afternoon we will visit La Calera hot springs (optional). Overnight in Colca.

Day 04: Lookout Condor (B)

An early day after breakfast we will start the trip toward the Mirador Cruz del Condor to see Colca Canyon, which is considered to be one of the world’s deepest canyons. From this lookout we will observe the flight of the majestic Andean condor only a few meters away. On the way back to Chivay we will pass by the towns of Pinchollo, Maca, Achoma,Yanque, and the lookouts of Antahuilque and Choquetico. After lunch, you will be transferred to the bus station to take the bus to Puno city, after 3 hours you will be greeted at the bus station and transferred to your hotel. Overnight in Puno.

Day 05: Full Day Tour to the Islands of Titicaca Lake (7:30 – 16:00) (B)(L)

Pick up from the hotel at 7:30 am to start the excursion to Titicaca Lake. In a fast boat, we will visit the floating island of Uros (3812m/15787ft), a village dedicated to fishing and hunting that has inhabited the lake since ancient times. These floating islands are made of totora reeds, an aquatic plant that is also used to make their homes and reed boats. We will then continue the trip by boat to Taquile Island, a Quechua village that developed a special social organization based on collective work. This island is known for having a wonderful textile art recognized by UNESCO as living heritage. Here we will have a typical lunch and then walk through its trails with spectacular views of Titicaca Lake. Finally we will return to Puno. Overnight in Puno.

Day 06: The Sun Route from Puno to Cusco (full day) (7:30 – 17:00) (B) (L)

At the scheduled time, we will transfer you to the bus station to take the bus to Cusco city, on the way we will be able to see the beautiful sceneries of the Peruvian valleys and highlands. The highlands consist of small towns with farmers, herders and camelids. On our way to Cusco, we will visit Pukara (an important lithic museum in Puno), Raqchi, it was the temple of Wiracocha god with really monumental dimensions, and finally the more Andean landmarks, such as: the Andahuaylillas chapel which is one of the most beautiful examples of Andean popular religious art. Upon arrival in Cusco, you will be transferred to your hotel. Overnight in Cusco.

Day 07: Cusco- City Tour (13:30 – 18:30) (B)

By the afternoon you will visit the highlights of the downtown of the city such us: Cusco Cathedral and its treasures of Colonial art, including fine silverworks, wood carvings and paintings belonging to Escuela cuzqueña of XVII, XVIII centuries. Then you will continue to Qoricancha the Sun Temple in the Inca Empire, we will then continue to the fortress of Sacsayhuaman, with its huge stone blocks joined perfectly and other Incan shrines that we will visit will include: Tambomachay, Qenqo and Puca Pucara. Overnight in Cusco.

Day 08: Sacred Valley of the Incas (8:30 – 18:30) (B)(L)

Pick up from the hotel at 08:00AM to be transported in a private vehicle towards the archaeological site of Pisac, a great place for its outstanding agricultural terraces and palaces erected neatly over the mountain. Then we will descend towards its famous handicraft market full of a variety of colorful products that will delight our senses. Next we will drive to the town of Urubamba, where a delicious lunch will be waiting for us. Then we will continue our trip by bus to the fortress of Ollantaytambo to see its magnificent rooms and temples built with enormous blocks of granite. When we return to Cusco, we will visit the picturesque village of Chinchero to appreciate the remains of the Incan king, Tupac Yupanquis palace and its beautiful colonial church. In addition, we will have the opportunity to visit textile workshops showcasing the mastery of the Andean weavers. Overnight in Cusco.

Day 09: Full day Tour to Machu Picchu (B)

Very early transfer from your hotel to the train station, where we will board the train service to Aguas Calientes, a town that is located at the foot of Machu Picchu mountain (2000m/6561ft). During the train journey you will enjoy the beautiful scenery of the mountains and valleys that surround the train with spectacular views of the Urubamba valley. Once in Aguas Calientes, we will take the bus of ascent (30min) to the Inca citadel and then start the guided tour (2 1/2 hrs.) through the main temples, plazas and religious sites of this enigmatic city. At the end you will have free time to explore the site on your own. At a scheduled time (to be announced), we will descend back to Aguas Calientes for lunch and finally return to Cusco by train and by bus. Overnight in Cusco.

Day 10: Day at leisure and flight to Lima (B)

Last day in Cusco, at the scheduled time transfers to the airport for your flight to Lima. Last night at hotel in Lima.

Day 11: Departure Day from Peru (B)
