Day 01: Arrival in Cusco - City Tour.

first day of the sacred valley machu picchu tour. it starts at your arrival and we welcome you with total cordiality and responsibility at the airport, then you will be transferred to your chosen hotel. We will recommend you to take a mate de coca and rest the first hours to acclimatize better to the altitude.

By the afternoon we will start visiting and discovering the highlights of downtown of the city, we will visit, The magnificent Cathedral and its treasures of Colonial art, including fine silverworks, wood carvings and paintings belonging to Escuela Cuzqueña of XVII, XVIII centuries. We will then continue to Qoricancha the Sun Temple in the Inca Empire, after we will continue to the fortress of Sacsayhuaman, with its huge stone blocks joined perfectly and we will visit too, Qenqo an mystique cave, it was a sacred altar. Overnight in Cusco

Day 02: Pisac and Archeological and Ollantaytambo (B)(L).

After breakfast at the hotel, pick up to begin our tour. This day we will go to sacred valley to have a gentle hike around Pisac towns, here the Incas erected a magnificent Citadel on the mountain. After good time exploring and enjoying amazing views and history, we will descend to the colonial town of Pisac and visit its famous handicraft market. At mid day you will enjoy a delicious lunch at Urubamba village tasting some local food too. Our next point to visit is Ollantaytambo, know as the inca living city, because the town still maintain original planning, you will visit the impressive sun temple build with huge bloqs and its fine water fountains dedicadet to worship water. End of our day at your hotel in Sacred Valley.

Day 03: Machupicchu Full Day.

After breakfast at the hotel, we will go to the train station to board the train service to Aguas Calientes, a town that is located at the foot of Machu Picchu Mountain (2000m/6561ft). During the train journey you will enjoy the beautiful scenery of the mountains and valleys that surround the train with spectacular views of the Urubamba valley. Once in Aguas Calientes, we will take the bus of ascent (30min) to the Inca citadel of Machu Picchu luxury tour and then start the guided tour (2 1/2 hrs.) through the main temples, plazas and religious sites of this enigmatic city. At the end you will have free time to explore the site on your own. At a scheduled time (to be announced), we will descend back to Aguas Calientes for lunch (not included) and finally we will return to Sacred Valley by train. Overnight at Sacred Valley.

Day 04: Salt mines of Maras and Moray (B).

Last day of our sacred valley machu picchu tour. Pick up from your hotel in the Sacred Valley to start our last tour. This day we will visit two impressive sites, the first, the circular platforms of Moray which was a center of agricultural experimentation in the time of the Incas, and then the salt mines in Maras this place has more than 300 thousand salt pools that capture the water that flows from the bottom of the mountain, in this place is extracted the appreciated "Pink Salt" very appreciated for its beneficial properties for health at international level. The salt mines of Maras were exploited from the pre-Inca era until today. We will also stop in Chinchero, very famous for its very skilled weavers, as they still use ancient techniques and rudimentary materials to obtain the finest fabrics, we will visit a demonstrative workshop. End of the tour at your Cusco Hotel.
